Joy Baldridge, CPC, CSP, is a renown self-management expert who helps the best companies in the world become even better at increasing revenue and productivity while decreasing stress and frustration.  She began her speaking and training career at birth.  She was born into a family of driven entrepreneurs and dynamic educators. Her parents founded the Baldridge Learning Center in 1956. Her first official speaking engagement was at the White House, at the age of 19. She got there by cold calling the president.

In 1992, Joy founded Baldridge Seminars International, a professional development organization that focuses on management, leadership, sales, communication and priority management skill development.  In her seminar and keynote presentations Joy shares innovative ways to adapt to change while increasing revenue, productivity and profitability.  Her keynote presentations and seminars are highly entertaining, extremely informative and completely customized. They are known for producing immediate, positive, and tangible results.

Joy is the author of The Fast-Forward MBA in Selling, published by John Wiley & Sons, Inc.  This book provides an abundance of what she calls “Golden Nuggets” of information: Useful real-world tips, case studies and strategies designed specifically to help create self-managed business professionals. Joy has appeared as an expert in many publications including: Time Out New York, B to B Media Business, Working Mother, SUCCEED, American Health, SELF, Parents and Selling Power.  She has been a guest on many radio programs, and was the host of a talk show on Cablevision where she interviewed CEO’s of fortune 500 companies and asked how they were able to make it to the top.

Joy Baldridge earned her Certified Speaking Professional designation through the National Speakers Association in 2008. The CSP is the hallmark of the expert who speaks professionally.

What is the CSP?
The Certified Speaking Professional designation, established in 1980, is the speaking industry’s international measure of professional platform skill. CSP is conferred by the National Speakers Association (NSA) only on those accomplished speakers who have earned it by meeting strict criteria. The letters CSP following a speaker’s name indicate a speaking professional with proven experience who understands what is required and knows how to deliver client satisfaction.

What is the Criteria to become a Certified Speaking Professional?
Every CSP must…
• Maintain membership in NSA and subscribe to its Code of Professional Ethics.
• Serve a minimum of 100 different clients within 5 years.
• Present a minimum of 250 professional speaking engagements within this same 5-year period.
• Submit testimonial letters from clients served.
• Submit professionally prepared promotional materials.
• Receive excellent ratings from past clients on professional performance evaluations.
• Continue education in the professional speaking field through NSA’s many educational programs.

The National Speakers Association
The NSA is an international association of more than 3500 members dedicated to the art and value of experts who speak professionally. For more than 30 years, NSA has provided its membership with resources and education designed to enhance business acumen and impact through programming that helps audience members and organizations positively address the way they work and live, change and adapt, compete and lead, prosper and perform. The CSP certification is NSA’s indication that you are booking a committed professional who has a history of success with many audiences.

Joy Baldridge is a Certified Personnel Consultant (CPC)

Joy Baldridge began her career as a personnel consultant.  She interviewed over 6,000 candidates, placing over 600 in jobs.  She was ranked number one in the firm six consecutive years.  She was promoted to manager, then vice-president, and subsequently stared her own recruiting agency.

What is a CPC?
Since 1961, the National Association of Personnel Services has been certifying recruiting and staffing professionals nationally. Today, there are more than 10,000 professionals designated as Certified Personnel Consultants (CPC). A CPC understands the laws, ethics and best business practices in the recruiting field. Having a CPC demonstrates a commitment to excellence to yourself, your organization, and your clients.
